Pomodoro focus timer

The Pomodoro Technique breaks work into focused sessions — classically 25 minutes — separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every four. This timer runs the cycle for you and advances automatically, with a sound at each change.

Adjust the work and break lengths to suit you, and watch the session count build as you go. It's a simple way to stay focused and avoid burning out.

Pomodoro Timer — frequently asked questions

What is the Pomodoro Technique?
It's a time-management method: work in a focused block (traditionally 25 minutes), take a short 5-minute break, and repeat. After four work sessions you take a longer break of 15–30 minutes. The short bursts keep concentration high and give your brain regular rest.
Can I change the session lengths?
Yes. You can set the work length, short break, and long break to whatever suits your focus — 50/10 and 90-minute deep-work blocks are popular alternatives to the classic 25/5.
Does it move to the next session automatically?
Yes. When a work session or break ends, a sound plays and the timer advances to the next phase, tracking how many work sessions you've completed toward the next long break.
