- What can the randomizer do?
- Four things, each on its own page: flip a coin (with streaks and best-of series), roll dice from dice notation such as 2d6+3, 4d6 drop lowest or d20 advantage, generate random numbers in any range (sorted, unique, up to 100 at once), and pick raffle winners from a pasted list of names. Recent results can be copied or downloaded as a CSV.
- Are the results genuinely random?
- Yes. Every result is drawn from your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) using rejection sampling, so every outcome has exactly the same chance. The animations just show a result that was already chosen. It is a good fit for everyday raffles and games; for a formal, audited prize draw you may need a certified service.
- Can I bookmark a setting?
- Yes. The settings are kept in the address bar, such as ?min=1&max=49&count=6&unique=1 on the number page or ?dice=3d8 on the dice page, and the copy-link button gives you that address. Anything invalid in a link is ignored.
- Is anything saved or uploaded?
- Nothing is uploaded. By default your last 50 results (and your name list, if you use the picker) are kept in this browser's storage on your device, and you can switch that off or clear it under Recent results. It's free with no sign-up, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
