How accurate is the timer?
It's based on your device's real clock rather than counting ticks, so it stays accurate even if the browser throttles the tab in the background — the reading corrects itself the moment you come back. An alarm sounds when the countdown reaches zero.
Why do I need to press start before it makes a sound?
Browsers only allow audio to begin after you interact with the page, so pressing Start (or Set Alarm) is what lets the timer play its alarm later. It's a browser rule that applies to every website.
What's included besides the countdown?
