A scientific calculator that runs entirely in your browser

Evaluate expressions with trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots, and factorials — switch between degrees and radians, keep a running memory, and reuse your last answer. No sign-up, no download, and nothing uploaded to a server.

Full function set

Trig, inverse trig, logs, exp, roots, powers, factorials, modulo, π and e — the whole scientific bench.

Degrees or radians

Switch angle mode with one tap; trig and inverse-trig functions follow it consistently.

Keyboard friendly

Type expressions and operators, press Enter to evaluate, Escape to clear — no reaching for the mouse.

100% private

A safe parser runs everything in your browser. No eval, no uploads, nothing tracked.

Frequently asked questions

Which functions does the scientific calculator support?
Trigonometry (sin, cos, tan and their inverses asin, acos, atan), natural and base-10 logarithms (ln, log), the exponential exp, square root (sqrt), absolute value (abs), powers with ^, factorials with !, modulo with %, and the constants π and e.
What is the difference between degree and radian mode?
Trigonometric functions interpret their input as either degrees or radians. In degree mode sin(90) is 1; in radian mode you would write sin(π/2) to get 1. Use the Deg/Rad switch at the top to pick the mode — inverse functions like asin return their answer in the same unit.
What order of operations does it follow?
Standard mathematical precedence: factorials and powers first (^ is right-associative, so 2^3^2 is 2^9), then multiplication, division and modulo, then addition and subtraction. Use parentheses to group anything you want evaluated first — for example (2+3)*4 is 20, while 2+3*4 is 14.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes. Type digits and the operators + − * / ^ % ! and parentheses directly, press Enter or = to evaluate, Backspace to delete the last character, and Escape to clear. The on-screen keypad and your physical keyboard stay in sync.
Is there memory and a last-answer button?
Yes. M+ and M− add or subtract the current value to a memory register, MR recalls it, and MC clears it (an M badge appears while memory holds a value). Ans inserts your last result, and after pressing = an operator continues the calculation from that result.
Is my data stored or uploaded anywhere?
No. Every calculation runs locally in your browser using a safe expression evaluator — there is no eval, no server round-trip, and nothing is uploaded. Your last expression is saved only to this browser's local storage for convenience.
Is the scientific calculator really free?
Yes — nothing to pay, nothing to register for, no watermark. The only revenue here is one modest ad slot on the page.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no account system at all. Open the page and start calculating.
