What types of QR codes can I create?

Websites, plain text, email (with subject and body), phone numbers, SMS, WhatsApp chats, Wi-Fi logins, contact cards (vCard with mobile and work phones, job title and address, or the shorter MeCard), calendar events, map locations, and Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin payment requests.

Can I add my own logo to the QR code?

Yes — upload an image and it's placed in the centre at its own shape (a wide logo stays wide) on a plate in the background colour. The error correction level is raised to High whenever a logo is set, and the scan check confirms the code still reads.

What file formats can I download?

PNG up to 2048×2048 px, SVG (vector, any size), and print-ready output: choose the printed size in millimetres or inches and the DPI, add a caption such as the Wi-Fi password, and get a PNG or a PDF with one code or a sheet of labels at exactly that size.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser — nothing you type, and no logo you upload, is ever sent anywhere.

Will the QR code still scan if I change the colors?

Each code is read back in your browser with a real QR decoder, and the preview says "Scans correctly" or "Won't scan". It also warns when the contrast is under 3:1 or the squares are lighter than the background, which many phones can't read, with a button to swap the colours.

Is there a limit to how much I can encode?

Up to 2,953 bytes at the Low error correction level, fewer at higher levels, and 1,273 with a logo (which needs High). If the content doesn't fit, the message says by how much and what will help with your settings: removing the logo, a lower level, or shorter content.

Can I make many QR codes at once?

Yes. Paste or open a CSV of links, text, Wi-Fi networks, contacts, phone numbers or emails, and download a ZIP of PNG or SVG files or a PDF of labels, all in your style. A name column names each file.

Is the QR Code Generator really free?

Yes — free in the plain sense: nothing to pay, nothing to register for, nothing that lapses after a week. Your codes are unwatermarked and yours to use commercially, including the logo and colour customization other generators reserve for a paid plan.

Do I need to sign up or install anything?

No. There's no sign-up, no login and no email capture anywhere on the site, and nothing to install. Pick a data type, fill in the fields, and your code renders as you type.
