Will the alarm ring if I switch tabs?
Keep the tab open and it will sound at the set time; the countdown is based on the real clock, so switching tabs doesn't throw it off. If you close the tab, the alarm can't ring — this is a browser page, not a background app.
Why do I have to press a button to arm it?
Browsers block sound until you interact with the page, so arming the alarm with a click gives it permission to play later. It's a browser rule that applies to every website.
Is it free and private?
