Frequently asked questions

Is this a playlist or a looping track?
Neither. The music is composed live in your browser, note by note, from a scale and a set of chords — so it never repeats and there's nothing to download or stream. Every session sounds different because the notes and timing are chosen at random within each mood.
How are the moods different, and what are the variations?
There are five moods — Focus, Meditate, Relax, Sleep, and Dream — and each has several variations built from genuinely different instruments and arrangements. Focus offers a marimba, a felt piano, and a driving pulse; Relax offers a Rhodes, a nylon guitar, and soft keys; Dream offers a music box, glass bells, and a celeste. Each variation also has its own background texture — rain, ocean waves, wind, a stream, vinyl crackle, or a soft hiss. Pick a mood, then pick a variation — every one is generated live, so it keeps evolving and never loops.
Does it use binaural beats or make health claims?
No. It's simply calm, non-distracting music. Steady, gentle sound helps many people concentrate or unwind by masking sudden noises and giving the mind something even to rest on — we don't claim any special brainwave effect.
Will it keep playing if I lock my phone or switch tabs?
On a computer it keeps playing in a background tab. On mobile, browsers usually pause audio when you lock the screen or switch apps — turn on "Keep screen awake" to help it keep going while the tab is open. This is a browser limitation, not a bug in the tool.
Why do I have to press play first?
Browsers only allow sound to start after you interact with the page, so the music begins when you tap a mood or the play button. That's a browser rule, not a limitation of the tool.
Is it free and private?
Completely. It runs entirely in your browser with no sign-up, no account, and nothing uploaded — the sound is generated on your own device.
