Terms of Use

The service

omnibus is a collection of free online tools. There is no account, and no charge. We may add, change or remove tools, or the whole site, at any time without notice, and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Use it fairly

You agree not to:

• use omnibus to break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
• send us content, such as feedback, that is illegal, abusive, or that you don't have the right to send;
• overload, scrape, probe or attack the site or the services behind it;
• try to access anything that isn't yours, or interfere with other people's use of the site.

We may block access or remove content that breaks these rules.

Your files and your work

Almost everything you make here is processed on your own device and belongs to you. We claim no rights over your documents, images, text or results. Because your work usually lives only in your browser, it can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices, so keep your own copies of anything important. We can't recover it for you.

Not professional advice

The tools are for general information and convenience. In particular:

• Health and nutrition tools (BMI, calories, protein, diet charts, nutrition values, food and cosmetic scanners) give estimates. Nutrition figures and product data come from general references and community databases such as Open Food Facts, and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are not medical or dietary advice, and a scan is not a safety or allergy check. Read the actual label and talk to a qualified professional.
• Money and tax calculators (EMI, SIP, GST, discounts, invoices) are illustrations based on what you enter. Rates and rules change, so check results before relying on them. They are not financial, tax or legal advice.
• Documents you create (invoices, resumes, invitations) are your responsibility to check for accuracy and legal suitability before you use or send them.

Playing with others

Chess and Sea Battle connect you directly to another person. We don't see, record or moderate what happens in a game, chat or call, so be respectful, and don't share anything you wouldn't want the other person to see or hear. Your opponent can learn your IP address, as with any direct connection.

Other people's services

A few tools rely on third-party services (see the Privacy Policy). We don't control them, and we aren't responsible for their accuracy, availability or content.

No warranty

omnibus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) omnibus. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or any rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

Ownership

The omnibus site, its design and its code belong to us or our licensors, and some tools include open-source software under its own licences. You're welcome to use the site and the results it produces for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial.

Feedback you send is welcome, and you allow us to use it to improve the site without owing you anything for it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above shows when. If you keep using omnibus after a change, you accept the updated terms.
