Live result

The answer updates as you type, with line and character counts before and after.

Chain and undo

Use the result as the next input, step back up to 20 changes, copy, download or share a link.

Careful with text

Windows, Mac and Linux line endings are read (opened files keep theirs), and emoji and accents stay whole.

Frequently asked questions

How does it recognise an email address?
It looks for an @ sign with a name before it and a domain after it that ends in a letters-only part such as .com or .co.uk. Names and domains in other alphabets are accepted. It is a practical finder, not a full check of the email standard, so odd quoted addresses may be missed.
Can it remove duplicates and count them?
Yes. “Each only once” is on by default, “Count how often each appears” prefixes each address with its count, and you can sort them A to Z or by count. Use “Make lowercase” to treat Name@Site.com and name@site.com as the same address.
Is the list uploaded or kept?
No. The addresses are found in your browser and are not sent or stored anywhere.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser; your text is never sent to a server and is not saved on this device. Only your option choices are remembered. (If you switch to another operation, your text is held in this tab's session storage for up to a minute so it can carry over, then discarded.) It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
