- Is it really free, with no watermark?
- Yes. Every template, every typeface, every piece of artwork and every download size is free, with no account, no trial and no watermark on the card. The download step is exactly where most invitation sites ask for a card, and this one doesn't. A single unobtrusive ad slot pays for hosting.
- Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?
- No. Photos are read straight from your device in the browser, and the finished card is drawn and saved on your machine too. Nothing — not the photo, not the guest names, not the card — is ever sent to a server. That's also why it keeps working with the network off once the page has loaded.
- Which languages can I make a card in?
- You can type in 39 languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Urdu, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and most European languages. Each one gets a typeface that actually supports its script, and Urdu, Arabic, Persian and Hebrew lay out right-to-left correctly. Around half also come with ready-made invitation wording; the rest start from English for you to overwrite.
- Can I change the wording after choosing a language?
- Yes, and switching language never overwrites anything you typed. Only the stock lines you haven't touched get re-worded — your names, dates and addresses stay exactly as you wrote them, whichever language you switch to.
- Can I make a card for a funeral, memorial or prayer meeting?
- Yes. There are dedicated templates for memorial services, funeral notices, prayer meetings and shraddhanjali, condolence messages and death anniversaries, with muted palettes, restrained layouts and appropriate wording. Most card makers only do celebrations; these are among the cards people most need and least want to fight software over.
- How do I change the photos, artwork and colours?
- Click anything on the card to edit it. Photos can be swapped, cropped, framed as a circle or arch, and tinted. Artwork can be changed from a library of florals, mandalas, diyas, lanterns, doves, rings and more, and recoloured. Choosing a new palette recolours the whole card at once, while anything you gave a custom colour keeps yours.
- Can I send a personalised card to each guest?
- Yes. Put {{guest}} anywhere in the text — for example "Dear {{guest}}," — then paste your guest list in the download dialog. You get one card per guest, named after them, bundled into a single ZIP. It's all rendered in your browser, so the guest list never leaves your device.
- What size should I choose, and can I print it?
- For WhatsApp, Instagram or a status, use Square, Portrait or Story. For printing, use a print preset — 5×7in, A4, A5, A6 or 4×6in postcard — and download as PDF: the page comes out at exactly that physical size at 300 dpi. Changing size rescales the whole design to fit, so you can lay a card out once and export it for both.
- Which file format should I download?
- PNG for the best quality and for sharing or printing. JPG for a smaller file to send over WhatsApp or email. PDF for printing at a real physical size. SVG if you want a vector file that stays sharp at any size — the fonts are embedded in it, though Chinese, Japanese and Korean text uses your device's system font.
- Will my card still be here if I close the tab?
- Your current card is saved automatically in this browser, and you can keep up to 30 named cards under Save. That storage is local to this browser, so to move a card to another device — or to keep a backup — download the card file and open it anywhere.
