Words

Press Enter to choose where lines break. Fewer words means bigger letters.

Pictures and text boxes

Place them anywhere: drag on the preview to move, pull the corner to resize, the dot on top to turn. Pictures are shrunk and re-saved on your device, which removes their location details. Up to 12 pictures.

Pushes the words apart so pictures don't cover them. The first picture you add goes into this space.

Make a big, bold sign or poster

Free, no sign-up, nothing uploaded. Type a message and it fills the sign in thick, high-contrast letters, then add pictures and text boxes anywhere you like. Print it on poster board, across a few sheets of printer paper, or send it to a print shop. Start blank or from a protest sign, lost pet poster, yard sale sign, event poster or airport pickup sign.

Text that fills the board

Your words grow to the largest size that fits, in thick lettering that reads from across the street.

Print big at home

Split any size across A4 or Letter sheets with labels and overlap, or get one full-size PDF for a print shop.

Pictures and text, anywhere

Add several pictures and text boxes and drag, resize or turn them freely, on one side or both, in any language.

Private by design

Frequently asked questions

How does the sign maker size the text?
Your main message is set as large as it can go while still fitting the sign, so a few words come out huge and a longer message wraps onto more lines. Press Enter in the box to choose where lines break. Details and the bottom line are kept smaller than the main message so it always reads first.
How do I print a sign bigger than my printer's paper?
Choose “Tiled PDF”. The sign is split across A4, Letter, A3 or Tabloid sheets, with a first page that shows how the sheets fit together. Each sheet is labelled like a map (A1, B1, A2…) and overlaps its neighbours by 10 mm. Print at 100% (“actual size”), trim the dashed edges, and tape or glue the sheets onto card.
Can a print shop print it?
Yes. The full-size PDF has one page per side at the sign's exact size (for example 22 × 28 inches or A2), ready for a large-format printer.
Can I add pictures and put things wherever I like?
Yes. Add as many as 12 pictures and any number of extra text boxes, then drag them anywhere on the preview, pull the corner dot to resize and the top dot to turn them. Arrow keys nudge the selected one and Undo steps back. A slider can leave space under the headline so pictures don't cover your main words, and the first picture you add drops into it.
Which colours are easiest to read?
Dark text on a light background or the reverse, with a contrast of 7:1 or more. Every built-in colour scheme meets that, and the maker shows the contrast of your own colours and warns you when they're hard to read.
Does it work in my language?
Yes. Type in any language; lines in Arabic, Hebrew and other right-to-left scripts are drawn right to left. Rubik covers Arabic, Hebrew and Cyrillic, and other scripts use your device's own font.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The sign is drawn in your browser and saved only in this browser. Downloads are made on your device and carry no location or camera details. A share link holds the sign's text after the # in the address, which browsers never send to a server; photos are never included in links.
