Who is Ziggy?
Ziggy is a friendly green snake with yellow scales who lives on a warm rock in the jungle. Ziggy is a silly show-off: it laughs with a hiss, shakes its tail like a maraca, boings into the air like a spring and sways to its own snake-charmer tune. Buddy the fox cub, Pebble the penguin, Truffle the piglet and Twiga the giraffe are its friends.
How do I talk to Ziggy?
Press Talk to Ziggy and allow the microphone. Say something, and when you stop, Ziggy says it back in its own slow, hissy voice, with its mouth moving to the words. Ziggy doesn't listen while it is talking, so it never repeats itself. Press Stop talking to turn the microphone off.
What can Ziggy do?
Pat its head (it laughs a hissy laugh and flicks its tongue), boop its nose (it sneezes), tickle its coils (it wriggles and giggles) or shake its tail (it rattles like a maraca). Boing makes it coil down, spring up with a spin and land all wobbly. Feed gives it an apple, a strawberry or an egg, and Dance plays its own snake-charmer tune. Leave it alone and it sways to the music. Every action also has a button.
Can I change Ziggy's voice or home?
Ziggy's voice is always its own, so it sounds like the same friend every time. Its home can be the jungle or the desert.
Is my voice uploaded or saved?
No. Ziggy listens and plays back inside your browser, and each thing you say is forgotten once Ziggy has repeated it. Nothing is sent to a server. Videos are only made when you press Record and stay on your device unless you save or share them. The microphone switches off when you leave the tab.
