Tickle, poke and boop

Your voice is heard and repeated on this device only. Nothing is uploaded or kept, and the microphone turns off when you leave this tab. The camera picture stays on this device and is never recorded or saved. Only the angles of your arms and body are kept, for a few seconds, so the friend can copy them.

Meet Momo, the monkey who copies you

Free, no sign-up, no download. Press Copy my moves, wave your arms, jump, lean and talk, and Momo does it all back in a funny voice, bending every arm and leg just like you. Tap Momo for claps, cartwheels and head scratches, feed it a banana, and record a video to keep. Everything happens in your browser: the camera picture never leaves your device.

Talks back

Say anything and Momo repeats it in a high, cheeky monkey voice.

Copies your moves

Momo watches through the camera, then bends every arm and leg just like you did.

Claps and scratches

Tap Momo's hands to clap, pat its head and it scratches, puzzled. Ooh?

Banana time

Feed Momo a banana, an apple or a strawberry. Munch munch!

Cartwheels

Momo cartwheels right across the stage and lands with a ta-da.

Jungle dance

Momo's own bongo groove, with a bouncy dance on the beat.

Frequently asked questions

How does Copy my moves work?
Press Copy my moves and allow the camera and microphone. A small picture in the corner of the stage shows what the camera sees, with green lines on your arms, body and legs. After a 3, 2, 1, move and talk for a few seconds (you can choose 3, 5 or 8). Then Momo does the same moves and says your words back in its own voice, and it goes round again until you press Stop copying.
Momo doesn't copy me properly. What can I do?
Stand back so your shoulders, arms and, if you like, your legs are all in the little camera picture, with light on you and a plain background behind. Momo copies like a mirror: lift your right arm and Momo lifts the arm on the same side of the screen. If only your top half is in view, Momo copies your arms and head and keeps its own legs.
Is the camera picture recorded or uploaded?
No. The camera picture is read on your device to find where your arms and body are, and then thrown away; it is never saved, sent anywhere or put in videos. Momo keeps only those few angles, and your words, for the few seconds it takes to copy them. The camera and microphone switch off when you press Stop copying or leave the tab.
What else can Momo do?
Pat its head (it scratches, puzzled), boop its nose, wiggle its big ears, tickle its tummy, tap its hands (it claps above its head), tickle its curly tail or tap its feet (it hops). Cartwheel sends it cartwheeling across the stage. Feed gives it a banana, an apple or a strawberry, and Dance plays its own bongo groove. Every action also has a button.
Can I change Momo's voice or home?
Momo's voice is always its own, so it sounds like the same friend every time. Its home can be the treehouse or the beach. Buddy, Pebble, Truffle, Ziggy and Twiga are its friends, and they can copy your moves too, as far as their bodies allow.
