Who is Pebble?
Pebble is a little penguin in a red scarf who lives in an igloo. Pebble is shy and polite: pat its head and it hides behind its flippers, then peeks out. It loves fish, waddling and belly slides on the ice, and it shivers when nobody has played for a while. Buddy the fox cub is its friend, at Talking Buddy.
How do I talk to Pebble?
Press Talk to Pebble and allow the microphone. Say something, and when you stop, Pebble says it back in its own soft, sweet voice, with its beak moving to the words. Pebble doesn't listen while it is talking, so it never repeats itself. Press Stop talking to turn the microphone off.
What can Pebble do?
Pat its head (it goes shy), boop its beak (it sneezes snowflakes), tickle a flipper (it flaps happily), tickle its tummy (it giggles) or tap its feet (it waddles). Slide sends it whooshing across the ice on its belly, Feed gives it a fish or a shrimp, and Dance plays its own icy tune. Every action also has a button.
Can I change Pebble's voice or home?
Pebble's voice is always its own, so it sounds like the same friend every time. Its home can be the igloo by day or under the northern lights at night.
Is my voice uploaded or saved?
No. Pebble listens and plays back inside your browser, and each thing you say is forgotten once Pebble has repeated it. Nothing is sent to a server. Videos are only made when you press Record and stay on your device unless you save or share them. The microphone switches off when you leave the tab.
