Frequently asked questions

What should a yard sale sign include?
The words YARD SALE (or GARAGE SALE), the day and hours, and the street number or an arrow. Anything more is too small to read from a moving car. Black on yellow or black on orange stands out on a busy street.
How do I print a big sign without a big printer?
Choose “Tiled on printer paper”. The sign is split across A4 or Letter sheets, each labelled like a map (A1, B1, A2…) and overlapping its neighbours by 10 mm. Print at 100% (not “fit to page”), trim the dashed edges, line the sheets up by their labels and tape or glue them onto card. A print shop can print the single full-size PDF instead.
