How does the document scanner work?

Photograph a page (or choose an image), then drag the four corners onto the edges of the document. The tool corrects the perspective — flattening the angled photo into a straight-on scan — and lets you pick a look: full colour, grayscale, or high-contrast black & white. Add more pages the same way, then export a single multi-page PDF. It all happens in your browser.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The whole pipeline — perspective correction, the scan enhancement, and building the PDF — runs on your device. Your documents never leave your phone or computer, there's no server, and there's no account. That's the point: a private alternative to apps that upload your scans.

Does it detect the page edges automatically?

Not yet — you place the four corners yourself, which is quick and gives you exact control (most scanner apps have you fine-tune the corners anyway). Automatic edge detection is a planned addition; for now the manual corners keep the tool fast and lightweight, with nothing extra to download.

What can I export?

A multi-page PDF of all your scanned pages, sized so each page fills the sheet with no margins. You can also download any single page as a JPG image. Pages can be deleted or re-scanned before you export.

How do I get the cleanest scan?

Lay the document flat on a contrasting surface, light it evenly to avoid shadows, and fill most of the frame with the page shot as square-on as you can. For text-heavy pages the black & white mode gives the crispest, smallest result.
