- How do you play Pattern Logic?
- Each puzzle shows a sequence, a set of items, or a visual pattern with one piece missing. Work out the rule connecting the items, then click, tap, or press the matching number key for your answer. A correct answer moves you to the next puzzle; a wrong answer reveals the correct one along with a short explanation of the rule.
- What kinds of puzzles does it include?
- Number sequences (addition, subtraction, multiplication, alternating operations, and increasing differences), missing-number puzzles where the gap is in the middle of the sequence rather than the end, Odd One Out sets, and visual patterns using dots, sizes, and rotating arrows.
- What's the difference between Classic, Timed, and Practice?
- Classic is one continuous run starting from your chosen difficulty that climbs higher the further your streak goes, and ends the moment you answer incorrectly. Timed gives you a fixed 60 seconds at your chosen difficulty and keeps going through a miss, so the goal is simply the highest score before the clock runs out. Practice has no timer at all and is built for reading every explanation at your own pace.
- Does the difficulty change as I play?
- In Classic mode, yes — your starting difficulty (Easy, Medium, or Hard) ramps upward as your level rises, up to a cap of Hard. In Timed and Practice, the difficulty you pick stays fixed for the whole run so you can focus on one level of challenge.
- Is every puzzle guaranteed to have one correct answer?
- Yes. Every puzzle is generated locally from a fixed rule (an arithmetic pattern, a shared numeric property, or a visual step), and the three wrong options are deliberately chosen to be close but incorrect — there's always exactly one answer that fits the rule.
- Is my score saved?
- Your best score, best streak, highest level reached, average response time, and games played are stored locally in your own browser across every mode. Nothing is uploaded, there's no account, and no server ever sees your results.
- Is this a medical or IQ test?
- No. It's a casual, fun exercise in logical reasoning and pattern recognition, not a clinical or intelligence assessment. It doesn't diagnose anything and doesn't guarantee any measurable improvement in intelligence — it's simply a game built around noticing and completing patterns.
- Is it really free, and does it work offline?
- It's completely free with no sign-up and nothing to install. The whole game runs client-side, so once the page has loaded it keeps working even with a flaky connection.
