Live music visualizer for DJs and parties

Free, no sign-up, no download. Point your laptop or phone at the speakers, pick the input your mixer feeds, or follow the music playing on the computer itself (a DJ app or a streaming tab), and the screen dances to whatever is playing: spectrum bars, a circular spectrum, an oscilloscope, particle bursts and GPU tunnels and mandalas, all synced to the beat. Put your DJ name, logo, a tagline and a scrolling message on top, choose a colour, gradient or venue photo as the background, go full screen on a projector and record clips for social media. It all runs in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.

Mic or computer audio

Follows the room through a mic or line input, or a tab's or the computer's own sound, with auto level.

Eight scenes

Bars, Mirror, Circle, Wave, Particles, Mandala, Tunnel and Liquid, picked by hand or changed every 8 to 64 beats.

Your branding

DJ name, logo that pulses on the beat, tagline and a scrolling message in six positions and four fonts.

Custom backgrounds

Black, a colour, a drifting gradient or your own picture, darkened so the visuals stand out.

Full screen and projectors

One-click full screen, an output window for a projector or second screen, snapshots and video clips.

Private and client-side

No account, no upload. The microphone, your pictures and your clips stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions

How does the visualizer hear the music?
Through your device's microphone, or any audio input your browser can use, such as a USB audio interface or a mixer's record output plugged into your computer. Press Start listening and allow the microphone. The sound is analysed many times a second on your device: the spectrum drives the bars and shapes, and the bass drives the beat detection. Echo cancellation, noise suppression and auto gain are asked off, because they are made for voices and would make music duck and pump.
Can it follow music playing on my computer instead of the microphone?
Yes, in Chrome or Edge on a computer. Set Listen to to Tab or computer audio and press Start listening; the browser asks what to share. Pick the tab that plays the music and keep Share tab audio ticked, or, on Windows and ChromeOS, share the entire screen with Share system audio on, which covers DJ software too. Only the sound is used: the picture the browser hands over is let go at once, and the sound is analysed on your device, not played again. On a Mac the browser can share a tab's sound but not other apps'; for those, use the microphone or an audio interface. Firefox, Safari and phones can't share sound, so they use the microphone. Press the browser's Stop sharing button or Stop listening to end.
Is anything I play or upload sent to a server?
No. The sound is only analysed in your browser and is never recorded unless you press Record clip, and even then the clip stays on your device until you save it. Your logo and background picture are shrunk on your device and remembered in this browser only, together with your settings, so they are back next time.
Can I put my DJ name and logo on the screen?
Yes. Type your name, a tagline (the event, venue or your socials) and an optional scrolling message for shout-outs or requests, and add a logo (a PNG with a transparent background looks best). Choose the position (centre, bottom or a corner), the text size and font, the text colour and whether the text and logo glow. The logo can grow a little on every beat. Everything you add is part of the picture, so it is in full screen, snapshots and clips too.
Can I use my own background?
Yes: black, one colour, a slowly drifting two-colour gradient, or a picture such as a venue photo, flyer or album art. The Darken slider dims the background so the visuals stay readable over it. The GPU scenes are blended over the picture so it shows through their dark parts.
What are the scenes?
Bars (a classic spectrum with falling peak caps), Mirror (bass in the middle, mirrored up and down), Circle (a circular spectrum that leaves room for your logo in the middle), Wave (an oscilloscope), Particles (bursts on every beat), and three GPU scenes: Mandala, Tunnel and Liquid. Turn on Change scenes by themselves to move to the next scene every 8, 16, 32 or 64 beats. Keyboard: V or the arrow keys change scene, 1 to 8 pick one, A turns auto on or off, F is full screen and Space starts or stops listening.
How do I show it full screen, on a projector or a second screen?
On the computer itself, press Full screen, press F or double-click the stage; the controls and the mouse pointer hide after a few still seconds, and Esc leaves. For a projector or second screen, press Output window: the visuals open in a window of their own, drawn sharp at that window's size. Drag it to the projector and double-click it (or press F) for full screen, while the controls stay on your laptop. The scene keys work in that window too. Keep the page's tab open, not minimised, so it keeps drawing. While it listens, the page asks the browser to keep the screen awake.
Does it detect the tempo?
It finds beats from sudden jumps in the bass, and once several beat gaps agree it shows an approximate BPM. Very fast tempos are shown at half speed (a 174 BPM track reads about 87). In a noisy room or with music without a clear kick it may show Finding the beat, and the scenes still follow the overall sound.
Is it safe for people sensitive to flashing light?
Flashing is off by default. If you turn on Flash on the beat, it never flashes more than three times a second, which is the usual safety limit. Calm motion makes the pulsing gentler, slows the movement and stops the flash; it starts on if your system asks for reduced motion.
Can I record a clip for Instagram or TikTok?
Yes. Press Record clip and the stage, with your branding, is recorded as a video, with the sound it is following (the microphone, or the shared tab or computer audio, which is cleaner) unless you turn that off. Press Stop recording, then Save clip. Clips stop by themselves after 10 minutes. The file is MP4 or WebM, depending on what your browser can record. Snapshot saves the current picture as a PNG.
Which browsers and devices work?
Any up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with microphone access, on a computer, tablet or phone. The GPU scenes need WebGL; where it is turned off, the Circle is shown instead. Recording clips needs a browser that can record a canvas; Safari on older iPhones may not.
